Uru – First Love     

Like thread that got entangled and cannot be disentangled  

It becomes stiffer and more fragile as time passes  

Unable to clear away cracked memories  

I pretended to have forgotten everything by wearing clean clothes  

Every time I ached deep in my heart,

I crouched, and muttered

I will never love anyone

I will never be loved by anyone

Being afraid of even wishing for happiness,

I was frightened, without knowing how to cry

Feeling the warmth of someone holding my shoulder,

I looked up, and found you there

In your arms, I heard very gentle and warm sounds

My heart is disentangled little by little

Encountering you,

I understood what love is for the first time

I’m sure that you noticed the shadow existing somewhere 

Like a bad dream that cannot be dispelled

Looking into the eyes of me, who was awkwardly smiling,
