Uru – 振り子

Uru - Pendulum     

Dingy screens have been stuck deep in my eyes  

I hoped someone would open them, 

because I wanted to see the blue sky  

As I demanded further, they became dirtier, but

By staying close to someone,  

I was able to exist here  

The morning comes, and then the night comes

We are born, and then die

There is no meaning in them

I complained like that alone, and went wrong

Like wiping a floor with a rag

Only my form is fully fledged

Kicked up dust and inhaled it

Choked on it, and cried alone

But, I still yearned for love

I have a dream every day

I wake up every day

I’m still dangling between dream and reality

When the wind blows

I drift away

In my life, I left the sweat I shed

after working like a horse untouched

until it became salt

Mud and stones are still stuck

at the bottoms of my worn-out shoes

I will keep using this pair of shoes for the rest of my life

Because your light illuminated tomorrow

I have a dream every day
