Aimer – Reddening
A dry wind travels around a corner of a town with withered leaves dancing
Elongated shadows and ginkgo trees along roads
I wished to keep watching the season
With no reply, calling is drowned out in the blink of an eye
Wading through a crowd of people on the main street,
I will go to a distant uninhabited place
Noticing that, I pretended to be ignorant
I was not able to do anything by myself
Bidding farewell to the phantom I encountered
Under this reddening sky
Revealed weakness on the palm
Like a flower that blooms, but won’t bear fruit,
I understand pain after realizing my wish
Even the chirps of migrating birds fade into reddened clouds
My path to go home is now distant
I will go to an uninhabited place alone
I saw the color of the landscape I discovered, but
I was alone, so I could not utter any words
Kissing the phantom I loved
In this twilight sky, there are still no twinkling evening stars
I wait for someone during the evening
Where is the hazy moon?
Being separated, I understand pain
What I was seeking on repeated days is
A hope that makes me keep walking
Bidding farewell to the phantom I encountered
Longing in this sky
Bygone days on the palm
Like a petal
Getting hurt many times, I understand why our paths cross
Encountering many people, I grasp hopes
