Uru – Wish
It was not easy to walk alone while seeing a gray view
Pulling a thread while tracing its vague silhouette,
I found the thread not connected
“Hey, let’s see the rising sun someday”
You said, and reached out a hand gently
If I had walked more neatly,
Would I be leading a different life?
I get entangled more as I struggle
While being overwhelmed by the creaky world, and
Dropping important things one after another
The two of us made a wish
The ordinary we’ve seen somewhere before would suffice
We no longer want the world where we only get hurt
If our paths had not crossed,
I would remain alone
I hated the empty days on which I merely breathed
You told me the thing I left somewhere and nearly forgot
Nearly getting mired in a distorted road, and
Nearly tumbling after being swayed by the wind,
The two of use made a wish
We no longer want a fleeting illusion or the false world
For example, dirty landscapes and the colors of the ugly town increase as I walk, but
There is a thing I can believe in, so
I won’t shed tears
And now, I will walk new days
While being overwhelmed by the creaky world, and
Dropping important things one after another
The two of us made a wish
The ordinary we’ve seen somewhere before would suffice
We no longer want the world where we only get hurt
